It looked like it would remain light winter with the prospect
for the first week of December 2024.
The chance has decreased somewhat, because a second heat wave is on its way
with very mild sea air from the Azores area towards western and northern Europe.
As I wrote earlier, high pressure areas now offer less resistance or are present
in crucial places such as above Norway, Sweden, Finland, therefore no supply of cold
from Russia, high pressure systems now choose an unfavorable position.
High pressure in central Europe
the prospect is that they will remain in central Europe with a round isobar pattern,
which means that south-westerly winds over a long distance with
cooperation of low pressure systems on the ocean strengthen this pattern
so they can ensure the start of heat source 2 for Europe.
Azores soft sea air heat source 2 for europe
As long as the dominant south-westerly wind direction comes from the azores area over a long distance and remains in place, there will be “no winter in europe” it’s that simple, only a little winter
in the higher areas in europe.

A very similar pattern has been persistent in the SE U.S. No real cold can infiltrate the eastern and southern sections of the U.S. due to an almost permanent high off the SE coast, keeping us in very warm departures from average. Focusing on cold where cold ALWAYS occurs is not very useful to dispel global warming theories.
Atlantic sea temp 80F off N Carolina, warmer than Hawaii. 82F off E Florida, 79F in the Gulf of Mexico at the beach. Same temp as Hawaii, warm tropical air rising North. 85F sea temp further South, Warmer than ave from solar flares. 88F in Mexico today that warm air going North up over the Gulf of Mexico and into the US. Mexi volcano plume in the mix bringing heavy rain now in Orlando Fl. Mexi volcano plume going into the US last three weeks bringing heavy rain, snow in the Rockies.
Atlantic sea temp 67F off Portugal, 70F Med. 98F W Africa today on the coast. Warmer than ave air rising North.
41F rain/wind ere noon at sea level. Snowing heavy on the mountains behind me. Normal crappy November weather
La Nina looking stronger in the Pacific O. Gulf of Mexico still warmer than ave. Most of the Atlantic warmer than ave all the way above Norway and above W Russia. The Med is warmer than ave. W Pacific warmer, Indian Ocean warmer. La Nina not cooler everywhere, warm air going up the US East coast and off W Africa past UK from warm ocean temps, Gulf Stream very strong now and has been for last couple years. 96F in Mumbai India, warmer than ave. Cat 5 typhoon just hit the Philip[ines two days ago from heat rising N from the equator. I watch warm and cold temps equally, the whole temp map not just the cold areas.
Official Winter is still four weeks away but lots of snow piling up in the mountains of Oregon. Even had snow flurries down at 600ft and lots of rain. Thank goodness the very strong Bomb Cyclone stayed far enough off shore to prevent high winds for most here, though Washington did get hit with them.

That sounds similar to the normal November weather in the Columbia Gorge. I lived in The Dalles many years ago.

I can’t read the language but the Iceland volcanoes in the Grindavik are acting up again.
